Dogs have a 'sweet tooth' just like we do, this super easy, no bake recipe is a great way to satisfy their sweet craving. Our dogs love the crunchy texture and sweetness and we're pretty sure yours will too.

PLEASE NOTE

1. Always supervise dogs when feeding treats and make sure they have plenty of fresh water available

2. Please reduce amount of kibble given in proportion to treats given

1 cup gluten free rice crispies
1 tsp freeze dried fruit powder (your dog’s favourite flavour)
2 tbsp pure honey
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp tapioca starch

Instructions

Preparation

Melt the coconut oil in the microwave (10-15 seconds)
Mix the melted coconut oil with the honey, fruit powder and tapioca starch
Gently fold in the rice crispies so as not to break them
Press the mixture into your dish of choice and allow to set in the fridge
Cut into squares for yummy, fruity snacks

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks
The dough mixture can be stored in the freezer, use within 6 months
Defrost thoroughly before baking
