Banana and Peanut Butter Biscuit

This soft biscuit combines two of the most popular flavours to produce a treat that all dogs go wild for. Perfect as an occasional treat or as a training treat you'll find yourself keeping a stock of these yums in the fridge for all occasions.

PLEASE NOTE

1. Always supervise dogs when feeding treats and make sure they have plenty of fresh water available

2. Please reduce amount of kibble given in proportion to treats given

1 Large ripe banana
¼ cup dog safe peanut butter (no xylitol)
¾ cup coconut flour
¼ cup tapioca starch
1 egg
1 tbs coconut oil

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 190C, 170C fan, gas mark 5
Mash the banana
Heat the coconut oil in the microwave until it turns to liquid (10-15 seconds)
Mix together the banana, peanut butter, egg and coconut oil
Add the coconut flour and tapioca starch and mix thoroughly either by hand or in a food mixer
Press the mixture firmly into your mould
Place into the middle of the oven and cook for :Bone and paw shaped moulds – 12-15 minsMini muffins – 20 mins
Leave to cool for 10 mins before turning out on to a cooling rack

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks
The dough mixture can be stored in the freezer, use within 6 months
Defrost thoroughly before baking
